Job Title: Multimedia Communication Specialist

About the Role:

• Palmer Bus Service is seeking a creative and skilled Multimedia Communication Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will produce high-quality video and audio content that showcases the people, values, and operations behind our transportation services.
• Your work will support internal and external initiatives—including safety training, recruitment, onboarding, technology overviews, and special needs education—by capturing authentic, engaging stories from across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Film, edit, and produce video content that aligns with company messaging and tone
• Collaborate with Safety, HR, and Marketing teams to understand project goals and intended audiences
• Capture and edit voiceovers as needed to enhance storytelling
• Assist with monthly safety video creation and other ongoing communication needs
• Deliver polished, ready-to-share multimedia content for internal and external platforms
• Organize and archive footage and assets for future use

Equipment & Software:

• Palmer Bus Service will provide access to production equipment, including camera(s), microphone(s), lighting, and editing software (such as Descript, Cap Cut, or Adobe Premiere).
• Candidates who also own and prefer to use personal equipment may do so with prior approval.
• All content created during employment remains the property of Palmer Bus Service.
• Final, approved work may be used in personal portfolios with written permission.

Qualifications:

• Experience filming, editing, and producing professional video content
• Strong visual storytelling instincts and attention to detail
• Proficient with editing tools such as Descript, Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, or similar
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred but not required:

• Experience filming with drones or action cameras
• Familiarity with safety training, education, or transportation-related content
