Description
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Program Manager to provide Agile Engineering Management Strategy, Implementation, and Administration services to the Program Executive Office for Fixed Wing (PEO-FW), Mobility Division, in direct support of the MC-130J aircraft program. This is a highly visible position ideal for a leader with deep expertise in Special Operations aviation, program execution, and government acquisition processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational Agile Engineering Management support to PEO-FW Mobility Division.
- Deliver technical and programmatic support to the Government Program Manager and Systems Engineering team to plan, execute, and monitor program deliverables.
- Lead coordination and alignment of Agile methodologies with program requirements, risk management, and performance metrics.
- Monitor vendor execution across cost, schedule, and performance (CSP) metrics and provide detailed reporting to Government stakeholders.
- Support integration of open systems architectures, cyber standards, and rapid software development cycles for MC-130J modernization efforts.
- Identify and research potential markets, partnerships, and business opportunities.
- Establish and nurture relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Develop strategic plans aligned with business objectives and market opportunities for growth
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of direct experience supporting MC-130 aircraft programs in acquisition, logistics, or systems engineering roles.
- PMP certification (or DAU PMT401/Level III equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience with USSOCOM acquisition and test processes, including coordination with Congressional and senior DoD leadership.
- Deep familiarity with Agile engineering principles, open systems architecture, and Special Operations software development efforts.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a high-paced, mission-critical environment.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and team leadership skills.
- Top Secret/SCI clearance required at time of application.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PEO-FW, AFSOC, or PEO-SDA portfolios
- DAU certifications in Test & Evaluation, Logistics, or Contracting
- Lean Six Sigma or process improvement experience
