Hybrid Sr Mortgage Servicing Representative - Bilingual presso Security Service

The Senior Mortgage Servicing Representative is accountable to complete the routine and non-routine (more complex) tasks and responsibilities associated with servicing first mortgage, equity, and home equity line of credit loans in accordance with established department policies, procedures, and processes. Takes the lead in handling more complex Member, and/or other Credit Union staff, mortgage servicing inquiries, examines issues and implements appropriate corrective action to respond to the Member’s requests. Corresponds and coordinates with sub-servicer(s) to research and resolve loan-servicing issues such as payment and accrual errors, proper coverage, and timely disbursement of escrow funds to ensure collateral value and lien position. Escalates queries/requests for action as appropriate to sub-servicer(s) as necessary for immediate action. Processes member transactions such as processing payments/payoff, advancing funds on Line of Credit, reversing fees, transferring funds, etc. Also performs exception payment processing to include but not limited to un-posted and misapplied transactions, coordinating corrective action with the Sub-Servicer(s), prepares adjusting general ledger or loan level entries as necessary. Completes tasks/responsibilities associated with mortgage sub-servicer vendor due diligence review and reporting under the direct supervision of Mortgage Services Management. Monthly and quarterly reviews of specific service levels and regulatory requirements such as monthly statements, year-end statements, rate related changes in all adjustable/variable rate mortgage products, escrow accruals and disbursement and escrow analysis etc. Completes tasks/responsibilities associated with mortgage sub-servicer vendor due diligence review and reporting under the direct supervision of Mortgage Services Management. Monthly and quarterly reviews of specific service levels and regulatory requirements such as monthly statements, year-end statements, rate related changes in all adjustable/variable rate mortgage products, escrow accruals and disbursement and escrow analysis etc. Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values.
