Role OverviewAs the Head of Finance, you will oversee all financial operations, ensuring the effective utilization of capital and resources. This role demands close collaboration with the entire management team to drive the company's financial strategy and performance.Your Tasks - Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives .
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with German accounting standards.
- Ensure adherence to all financial and Tax regulations and internal policies.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency exchange, interest rate, and credit risks.
- Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the international finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Promote professional development and excellence within the department.
- Systems and Tools Management:
- Oversee the utilization and optimization of financial systems, including Lucanet , Oracle NetSuite, and Salesforce.
- Ensure seamless integration and efficient use of these platforms to support financial operations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management and the board of directors.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies as needed.
Your Profile - Bachelor's degree in Finance , Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably as a CFO or Head of Finance.
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory requirements in Germany and internationally.
- Proficiency in financial management software, including Lucanet , Oracle NetSuite, and Salesforce.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
- Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
Nice to have - Experience working with private equity investors and rapidly changing high growth scenarios
- Familiarity with subscription / software / SaaS business models
- Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
