HealthPartners is hiring a Manager, Care Delivery Recruitment. This leadership role is responsible for guiding a dedicated team and overseeing the full-cycle recruitment process across the organization. The manager ensures that recruitment efforts align with workforce priorities and leverages strategies, tools, and standards developed by the Recruitment Center of Excellence (CoE).
The manager collaborates closely with business leaders and HR partners to deliver consistent, efficient, and high-quality experiences for both hiring leaders and candidates. It also plays a key role in advancing our diversity, equity, and inclusion goals.
Reporting directly to a Vice President of HR and maintaining a dotted-line relationship with the Director of Recruitment & Workforce Planning, the manager leads a high-performing team of 12—including 3 generalists, 7 recruiters, and 2 coordinators—driving strategic talent initiatives across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five (5) years of progressive experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
- Three (3) years of demonstrated leadership experience with a proven ability to lead HR/recruitment teams and implement standardized, scalable hiring practices.
- Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment, sourcing strategies and employment laws/regulations
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams toward shared goals.
- Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day operations effectively.
- Anticipates outcomes and impacts of decisions/actions and applies knowledge of organizational and individual circumstances.
- Demonstrates ability to utilize data to drive decisions and outcomes.
- Demonstrates ability to coach and influence peers and colleagues of all levels including the ability to deliver difficult messages to colleagues and leaders.
- Demonstrates approachability and respect in all interactions, fostering inclusive and equitable treatment while building strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Understands organizational mission and strategy and acts as a business ally in planning and execution of work.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven people leadership experience with the ability to inspire and guide high-performing teams.
- Background in healthcare or related industry environments
- Experience supporting unionized workforces and navigating labor relations.
- Demonstrated success working within complex, matrixed organizations.
- Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as Oracle or Workday
Hours/Location:
- Monday through Friday (daytime schedule)
- Remote work model with on-site presence required as needed; work locations may vary based on operational needs.
Responsibilities:
- (50%) Team leadership & operational oversight:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of generalists, recruiters, and coordinators to achieve hiring goals and deliver a consistent, positive experience for both candidates and hiring leaders. Provide ongoing mentorship and manage performance through regular feedback, coaching and timely resolution of performance issues.
- Offer ongoing support and direction to recruiters, coordinators and/or sourcing specialists, helping to navigate day-to-day questions.
- Monitor requisition workload, team performance and candidate flow to ensure effective workload distribution and timely hiring.
- Promote a team culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Manage third party vendors and external resources to supplement hiring needs and strategies as needed; including partnering with Supply Chain on contract execution.
- (25%) Strategic implementation & alignment with Recruitment Center of Excellence:
- Operationalize enterprise-wide recruitment strategies, programs and process improvements defined by the Recruitment CoE.
- Ensure consistent application of CoE-developed tools, templates and workflows across assigned teams and service areas.
- Serve as a liaison between the CoE and operational recruitment teams, offering feedback on implementation outcomes and identifying opportunities for refinement.
- Champion organizational recruitment priorities such as workforce planning integration, DEI hiring objectives and internal mobility through alignment with CoE direction.
- (15%) Stakeholder engagement:
- Build strong partnerships with hiring leaders, HR business partners and operational leaders to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities.
- Guide and support recruitment colleagues on best practices for recruitment planning, candidate evaluation and offer development.
- Facilitate ongoing communication and collaboration between recruitment and business partners to ensure alignment, manage expectations and resolve challenges proactively.
- (10%) Process & Compliance:
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with organizational policy and regulatory requirements including EEO and other applicable laws.
- Support data integrity and accurate use of the ATS/ERP.
- Use data to monitor and report on recruiting performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement of recruitment processes by sharing feedback and participating in CoE-led projects or pilots.
