- Responsibility for generating $500M+ in new qualified opportunities per year and assisting in closing the qualified opportunities.
- Tracking opportunities in RKMCs CRM.
- Offer deep technical insights and thought leadership on turnkey modular systems—data centers, UPS pods, e‑houses, and electrical conveyance systems.
- Track compliance standards and permitting trends affecting modular infrastructure. Leverage domain expertise to scout and cultivate growth in emerging verticals like AI data centers, edge computing, green energy solutions, and power infrastructure.
- Deliver compelling, technically detailed presentations and demos to both engineering and executive stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor by recommending innovative modular infrastructure solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, engineering firms, developers, contractors, and partner companies within core verticals. This includes traveling to customer locations and hosting customers at RKMC’s facilities.
- Drive continuous market intelligence gathering via events, conferences, publications, and networking to identify new business paths.
- Design and implement business development and marketing strategies, including campaigns, digital engagement, trade events, and strategic partnerships. Develop new business models and evaluate acquisition opportunities.
- Prepare financial models and growth projections for current and future market opportunities. Present status reports, detailed forecasts, and revenue analysis to leadership.
- Proactively manage client inquiries and issues, deploy and review customer feedback mechanisms, and identify trends for continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or pre-sales in the data center, IT infrastructure, telecommunications, or power markets. Experience with modular construction is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of data center and mission-critical infrastructure (power, cooling, network architecture, etc.), modular construction, and energy-efficient technologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., Tier ratings, Uptime Institute standards) and a strong focus on providing customers with the technical details to make informed decisions.
- Proven relationship-building and networking skills, including the ability to cultivate and maintain long-term client partnerships, generate referrals, and drive new market opportunities through both in-person and online engagement.
- Ability to leverage relationships and industry knowledge to win profitable work.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex technical solutions to diverse audiences (non-technical and cross-functional teams).
- Strong proposal development and technical writing skills, able to clearly convey both the business value and technical specifics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively to offer innovative, compliant solutions tailored to customer needs across various modular product offerings.
- Travel as required, anticipated to be +30% of travel.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
- Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.

- Prompt, punctual, and regular attendance during core business hours, in an office environment, currently located in Aurora, including a reliable means of transport to and from work. Ability to occasionally travel between corporate offices and jobsites within the Denver Metro Area, during work hours.
