Who we need:
Barkan Management Company Inc. is seeking an experienced Front Desk Administrator to provide reliable and organized administrative support. The Front Desk Administrator will be the first point of contact for our clients and is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service. Successful candidates must exhibit strong communication and organizational skills. This is a part-time position to cover Friday evening - 3 PM to 11 PM and Saturday swing shift 11 AM to 7 PM, with an opportunity to pick up shifts as available. Must have valid driver's license, as there is a valet component. Duties include - announcing guests, signing in contractors, inventorying packages, assisting with event set up and valeting of vehicles. Candidate must possess strong communication skills, be able to lift up-to 50 pounds and possess basic PC and desktop publishing skills.
What you’ll do:
- Answer phones and transfer calls to the appropriate parties
- Check voicemails and faxes in the general mailbox and forward to appropriate parties
- Welcome and announce visitors
- Accept incoming deliveries
- Assist with incoming and outgoing mail as needed
- Generate shipping labels for outgoing UPS shipments and run end of day reports
- Distribute financials to Board members
- Maintain appearance of reception area
- Keep track of office supply stock and notify Office Manager of any shortages
- Assist with various office duties as needed

What we’re looking for:
- 1-2 years of front desk/reception experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to work at a sustained pace and produce quality work
- Ability to meet deadlines by being organized and effective
- Must be able to work effectively as a team, as well as independently
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Must be flexible with a tolerance for change
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be committed, looking to succeed and work hard
