Position Summary
As a Mobile Transportation Specialist, youâll play a dual role in transporting members safely and ensuring their experience is positive, secure, and welcoming. When not behind the wheel, youâll oversee safety and provide support within the mobile clinic, assisting members and working with the team to create an exceptional environment. What Youâll Do
đ Safe Driving & Transport Support
- Safely transport members to and from designated locations as needed, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
- Assist members in navigating the mobile clinic, helping with entry, exit, and securing a safe environment.
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety protocols to maintain the highest level of security for everyone.
đ Safety & Environment Management
- Oversee safety and order within the mobile clinic during non-driving periods, ensuring a calm and welcoming environment.
- Address conflicts or disruptions using de-escalation techniques to maintain member and team safety.
- Act as the primary point of contact for safety concerns, responding promptly and effectively to any issues.
đŹ Member Engagement & Support
- Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating empathy and respect for members from diverse backgrounds.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless care delivery and a supportive member experience.
- Assist members in accessing services and navigating the mobile clinic, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
đ Administrative Support
- Keep accurate transportation logs and document relevant activities.
- Contribute to team meetings with ideas and insights to improve member experiences and clinic operations.
What Youâll Bring
đ Education & Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Washington State driverâs license with a clean driving record.
- Completion of de-escalation training (weâll provide training if needed!).
- First Aid and CPR certification is a bonus!
đ Skills & Experience
- Experience driving professionally (preferably in patient or person transportation)
- Strong customer service skills and a passion for working with diverse member populations.
- Proven conflict resolution and de-escalation skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Adaptability and collaboration skills to thrive in a dynamic, mobile clinic environment.
