Hubbard Supplyhouse is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our family-like atmosphere. We are a plumbing and irrigation supply house that also specializes in kitchen, bath, appliances, and lighting. The Installer & Merchandiser will support multiple showroom locations by assembling, installing, and maintaining visual product displays, while ensuring merchandise is clean, organized, and attractively presented. This hands-on role blends display installation with in-store merchandising and works closely with showroom and operations teams to maintain a professional and inspiring shopping environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

Installation & Merchandising

• Install and assemble plumbing, lighting, and bath displays in showrooms
   
• Build manufacturer display kits (e.g., shelving, signage, pegboard)
   
• Arrange and merchandise products per layout plans and brand standards
   
• Support seasonal resets and product launches
   

Maintenance & Organization

• Inspect, clean, and repair showroom displays regularly
   
• Replace damaged fixtures or signage as needed
   
• Maintain organized inventory of tools and display parts
   

Coordination & Support

• Coordinate with showroom, sales, and warehouse teams
   
• Communicate updates or issues to supervisor
   
• Use mobile tools to track and document display activity
   
• Travel statewide to support installations and merchandising tasks
   

Qualifications

Required: 

• High school diploma or equivalent
   
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience (installation, assembly, etc.)
   
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs. and travel frequently across NC
   
• Comfortable with tools, technology, and working at heights
   
• Detail-oriented, safety-focused, and a strong team player
   

Preferred:

•  Experience in fixture or retail merchandising installations
   
• Familiarity with plumbing, lighting, or appliance products
   
• Understanding of merchandising layouts or visual design
   
• Creative and proactive problem-solver
