Key Responsibilities:
Endpoint Devices Management (Windows, Mac):
Lead the management, deployment, and optimization of Windows and Mac endpoints across the organization.
Administer and configure MECM for endpoint management, including software deployment, patch management, and compliance monitoring.
Oversee the provisioning, lifecycle management, patching, and security of endpoint devices.
Provide technical support for endpoint-related issues and collaborate with IT support teams for issue resolution.
Lead the implementation of MECM policies, configurations, and updates for efficient and secure endpoint management.
Troubleshoot and resolve MECM-related issues and ensure seamless integration with other IT systems.
Enterprise Applications e.g. Microsoft 365, Teams, Confluence Administration:
Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and other M365 services.
Familiarity with administrative tasks such as user provisioning, permissions management, license assignments, and security policies.
Storage & Compute Infrastructure:
Manage storage solutions (e.g., SAN, NAS, cloud storage) to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
Oversee compute infrastructure, including virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V) and physical servers, ensuring reliable and efficient operation.
Lead storage and compute capacity planning, provisioning, and performance optimization.
Infrastructure Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide leadership in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and provide guidance for resolution.
Ensure minimal downtime for endpoint devices, M365 services, storage, and compute infrastructure.
Collaborate with other teams (network, security, etc.) to address cross-functional issues and enhance infrastructure reliability.
Project Management & Strategic Planning:
Lead infrastructure projects related to endpoint device management, M365, storage, and compute upgrades or improvements.
Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to plan and execute infrastructure initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and best practices for all infrastructure systems and services.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead a team of infrastructure specialists and provide mentorship, guidance, and technical expertise.
Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
Assist with team performance evaluations, training, and development initiatives.
Experience:
IT infrastructure management experience, with a focus on endpoint devices, Enterprise applications e.g. M365, Temas, Confluence, SharePoint etc., storage & compute.
Proven experience leading and managing IT teams or projects.
Strong understanding of endpoint device management, particularly with Windows, MECM and Mac OS.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 & Temas administration.
Knowledge of storage solutions, virtualization technologies, and compute infrastructure.
Experience in compliance frameworks and ITIL processes Change Management, Incident Management & Problem Management.
8 to 12 years of experience.
Skills & Competencies:
Leadership and team management skills, should be able to communicate during incident scenarios.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to guide the team and create strategy for Infrastructure stacks roadmap.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure best practices and emerging technologies.
ITIL certification (e.g., ITIL Foundation)
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with cloud storage platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, Azure, AWS etc).
Experience with automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform).
Familiarity with enterprise backup solutions and disaster recovery practices.
