Main Purpose:
We are looking for a Tax Reporting Manager to support the development and ongoing operation of the Group-wide tax control framework, including the design and implementation of Oracle TRCS .You will be responsible for managing tax accounting processes across the Impala Group, ensuring full compliance with local and international tax regulations, including Pillar 2 requirements, and country-by-country reporting.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:
Tax Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare/review consolidated provision workpapers including but not limited to roll-forward of deferred tax balances, roll-forward of tax payable balances, consolidated rate reconciliation.
- Assist with analysis of tax implications and proper reporting of topside journal entries.
- Provide guidance to shared services tax teams as needed.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants during audits or assessments.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Provide accurate tax data inputs for financial reporting and monitor tax-related KPIs.
ERP & Financial Systems
- Utilize systems such as Oracle FCCS & TRCS, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Qlik View for financial data extraction, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Maintain data integrity across tax reporting systems and support system upgrades or migrations.
Advanced Excel/Alteryx & Financial Modelling
- Use Excel / Alteryx (pivot tables, lookups, financial models) to analyze large datasets and model tax impacts across different business scenarios.
- Support tax scenario planning, deferred tax calculations, and tax provision modelling.
Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams including Accounting, Treasury, and Legal to ensure alignment and accuracy in tax reporting.
- Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholders for decision-making support.
Process Optimization & Internal Controls
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and accuracy of tax reporting.
- Design and implement technology enabled internal tax controls.
