We are currently seeking to recruit Junior professionals for the International Development Unit – Business Development Team – Communications to join a 2-year junior programme to enhance our Business Development Team in Belgium, working in the field of communications, visibility, and diplomacy.

Your role
Get ready to dive into a diverse range of tasks! As a junior professional, your role includes:
- Researching and analysing project background information in our core sectors of activities.
- Undertake business intelligence research, preparation of synthesis and reports.
- Support Business Development Managers during the tender process for international projects, providing administrative support in accordance with strict EU procurement procedures.
- Liaise with the client, project experts and project partners on day-to-day management of the tender process.
- Manage a large number of documents and data, maintaining dashboards that are continuously up to date.
- Support the Stantec recruitment team in identifying external consultants, preparing CVs, and related administrative documents.

Qualifications
We're on the hunt for go-getters with a solid academic background in fields related to our key sectors (communications, diplomacy, climate change and energy). While understanding the European Commission’s external assistance policies can give you an edge, your passion for sustainability and environmental conservation is just as crucial. If you're fluent in English (French is a bonus), tech-savvy with MS Office, and a detail-focused multitasker who’s driven by results, then you’re exactly who we’re looking for! You should ideally have the following qualifications and demonstrate the following skills:
- Academic background relevant to Stantec sectors of interest.
- Knowledge of the European Commission's external assistance policies would be considered an advantage. A traineeship with the EC external aid services is an asset.
- Professional/academic experience in the field of communications, marketing, political sciences, environment/climate change or in a similar technical assistance environment would be considered as an asset.
- Languages: solid written and spoken English; French will be considered as an asset.
- IT skills: advanced use of MS Office.
- Strong result-oriented personality.
- Multitask personality, rigorous, accuracy and attention to detail, with a dynamic work ethic approach.
- Creative, communicative, open-minded and willing to work in an international environment.
