Competent to provide technical expertise in support of plant operations and services and services

Your Day to Day:

• To carry out designated work packages within standards of safety, cost, quality, delivery and people
• Investigate and prepare technical reports with conclusions and recommendations as appropriate, including internal and external reporting.
• As appropriate, provide an input to the development of relevant equipment and technology
• Ensure all relevant safety rules and procedures are applied by all staff
• Demonstrates involvement and improvements in safety and plant operations/services
• Complies with legislative, regulatory and company policy standards and procedures e.g. safety, quality, risk, security etc. applicable to the role
• Ability to take command of a situation and act decisively, even whilst under pressure

What you need to be successful in this role:

• Engineer or Science Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least five years’ experience of Plant Manager/Engineering or Supervisory roles (having been a Duly Authorised Person). 
• Clear evidence of strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
