Hybrid ZI304 - Part-Time Housekeeper - Canary Wharf presso British American Household Staffing

A lovely Canary Wharf-based family seeks a part-time, live-out housekeeper/cook for an ASAP start.  Ideally they would like someone to come in 2 or 3 days per week.  

The successful candidate will be caring for a 3-bed, 3.5-bath apartment.  Standards are high and attention to detail and impeccable service will be expected.  Responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning of all rooms in the home, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping etc
• Silver, brass, wood, antique care
• Regular deep cleaning
• Keeping the kitchen organised and immaculate
• Keeping an eye on pantry stock levels, cleaning supplies etc
• General tidying and organising
• Laundry and ironing for the family (parents and a baby), including care of fine fabric
• Organising and maintaining wardrobes
• Arranging cut flowers and care of household plants
• Setting the table
• Regular changing of bedlinen
• Online ordering and grocery shopping
• Running errands
• Travel preparation and assisting with packing and unpacking
• Accepting deliveries
• Preparing an evening (and possibly lunchtime) meal for the family
• Some childcare if interested

The family is keen to find someone discreet and loyal, who pays attention to detail and who will care for the home as their own.  The successful candidate should:

• Have a positive, can-do personality
• Be happy to work alongside Mum, who will be working from home for most of the time
• Be an effective communicator
• Have some childcare experience
• Have previous longevity in roles and be looking for a long-term fit
• The family's priority is for someone with exceptional cleaning skills
• Hygiene based experience/training would be amazing, with knowledge of avoiding cross contamination
