We are looking for a curious, analytical and detail-oriented Associate Research Analyst to join our law firm research team within the Content, Editorial and Research division. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for research and writing to contribute to our globally respected legal rankings. You’ll play a key role in gathering and analysing data on the international legal services market, helping to shape the insights we deliver to our clients. As part of our evolving research approach, you’ll also work with AI-augmented tools to enhance the efficiency and depth of your analysis—while maintaining the editorial integrity and human insight that define our work.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting in-depth research into international legal services markets through telephone and face-to-face interviews
- Analysing research findings to compile rankings of top law firms and legal practitioners
- Writing clear, engaging and accurate editorial content based on your research
- Identifying trends and developments in the legal markets we cover
- Collaborating with colleagues across editorial, data and product teams to ensure high-quality outputs
- Managing and maintaining research data using internal systems and databases
- Using AI-enabled tools to support research and editorial processes
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
- Excellent command of written English and strong verbal communication skills
- High level of organisation and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with data and databases (full training provided)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- An interest in the legal industry or professional services is a plus
- Familiarity with or openness to using AI tools to support research and editorial work
