The Senior IT Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day support, maintenance, and optimization of software applications used within the organization. This role involves application builds, upgrades, workflow enhancements, and in-depth analysis of business and clinical needs to recommend innovative solutions that improve performance and reduce costs.
The Senior IT Analyst collaborates closely with end-users, technical teams, and cross-functional departments to evaluate software releases and new products, perform thorough system testing, and coordinate application rollouts. This role also includes troubleshooting application issues, managing service requests, and serving as a key point of contact for communication regarding software updates, issues, and enhancements.
Operating with minimal supervision, the Senior IT Analyst is expected to apply advanced knowledge, mentor junior team members, and lead smaller-scale projects or components of larger initiatives.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree 5+ years of relevant experience
Experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree - 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree
Certification/Licensure
No specific certification or licensure requirements
Experience
5+ years of relevant IT application support experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 7+ years without a degree
Experience supporting and optimizing enterprise applications (clinical or business)
Strong skills in evaluating software upgrades, patches, and new solutions
Demonstrated ability to lead small projects or workstreams independently
Proven ability to assess and improve business/clinical workflows through application solutions
