THE JOB:
The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in leading the restaurant team to achieve operational and financial goals while upholding MGM brand standards.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including budgets, labor, scheduling, inventory, guest service, and marketing to drive profitability

• Support the General Manager in executing business plans and developing strategies to meet goals

• Assist with HR functions, including hiring, training, team development, compliance, and fostering a positive work environment

• Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, manage feedback channels, and collaborate with the culinary team for seamless service

• Maintain expert knowledge of the venue’s food, beverage offerings, and equipment
   

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Has previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant OR previous experience in a luxury or fine-dining restaurant

• Has previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement
