- 8 and 12 hour shifts available.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist RNs with daily patient care including hygiene, repositioning, ambulation, feeding, and general cleaning.
- Perform and document vital signs, intake/output, daily weights, and other patient data.
- Independently carry out advanced care tasks such as:
- Arterial sheath removal
- Bladder scanning
- Foley catheter insertion/removal
- Arterial blood draws and ACT testing
- IV insertion, site care, and removal (peripheral)
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- 12-lead EKGs and phlebotomy
- Monitor patient status and promptly report changes or concerns to the RN.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, post-mortem care, and patient transport.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- CNA (WI registry)
- 1-2 years of CNA experience in the acute setting
Skills & Competencies:
- Completion of telemetry education and competency within 6 months of hire.
- Completion of unit-based clinical training for interventional procedures within 6 months of hire.
Pay Range
