This position is based on site in Plano, TX.
Our Impact:
The Investments & Capital Markets (I&CM) Division at Freddie Mac provides liquidity to the U.S. Mortgage Markets and makes funding more available by purchasing mortgage-related securities guaranteed by Freddie Mac and other financial institutions by issuing corporate debt. We provide direct operational support to the Debt Funding desk and work in tandem with the Liquidity goals of the firm. Our division engages in new projects in support of Debt Issuance and Freddie Mac’s 2025 goals.
Your Impact:
In this role, you will be an integral part of ensuring timely and accurate debt securities settlement and payment, and will be expected to:
- Accurately and efficiently analyze trade economics, process trade settlements, prepare reconciliations and reports, all while mitigating risk to the firm
- Serve as primary support to the Debt Funding trade desk. Support in all functions related to trade entry, data recording, ad-hoc analysis, and risk management
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment with documentation and procedures to facilitate effective settlement of debt securities in a timely and controlled manner
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies
- Collaborate with and communicate to external Brokers and Dealers and internal business partners
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for review my management
Qualifications:
- Minimum 0-2+ years of experience in Fixed Income operations or middle office
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and technical skills or macro experience preferred
- Basic understanding of corporate Debt Issuance and Fixed Income markets

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $58,000 - $88,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
