Homeoffice Data Warehouse Developer (freelance)

A client of Amass Technology's Mid-Level DWH Developer to join our team. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data warehouse solutions that support BI and analytics. This position involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop ETL processes, and ensure data integrity and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse structures, including star and snowflake schemas, optimized for performance and scalability.
• Develop and manage ETL processes using tools to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, including query tuning and indexing strategies.
• Work closely with BI developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and ensure the data warehouse supports these objectives.
• Investigate and resolve issues in the data warehouse and ETL processes promptly.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience working as a DWH Developer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools.
• Familiarity with BI tools.
• Solid understanding of data modeling techniques, including dimensional modeling and normalization.
• Experience with cloud data warehousing platforms like Snowflake or AWS Redshift is an advantage.

Logistics

• 6 month initial contract (likely to extend)
• Fully remote but have to be based in an EU Country.
• ASAP start.
• Monthly rate ranging between €3000-€3500.
