Job Summary

As a Data Platform Evangelist Engineer at IOMETE, you will be the voice of our users, building a strong community around our platform and acting as a bridge between users and our product development team. You will develop useful resources, share insights, and advocate for best practices, making it easier for users to maximize the value of IOMETE. This role requires technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for modern data products.


Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Develop educational resources, including blog posts, tutorials, webinars, videos and presentations that demonstrate how to get the most out of IOMETE’s platform.
  • Community Engagement: Cultivate and grow a community of IOMETE users by engaging on forums, social media (X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Medium), and other platforms. Respond to questions, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing.
  • Advocacy and Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for IOMETE’s users, advocating for their needs and sharing their feedback with internal teams to influence product direction.
  • Event Participation: Represent IOMETE at conferences, webinars, and online events, showcasing our technology and best practices to a global audience.
  • Technical Enablement: Work closely with the product and engineering teams to understand new features and improvements, translating technical information into accessible content for users.
  • Product Feedback: Gather and share insights from users on platform usability, potential improvements, and new feature ideas to ensure our product continuously evolves to meet customer needs.


Qualifications

  • Technical Background: Strong understanding of data management technologies.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. It is critical that you speak English fluently.
  • Community Building: Experience in growing and managing technical communities, with a passion for engaging and supporting users in meaningful ways.
  • Content Development: Proven experience creating engaging, educational content, including blogs, videos, or presentations for technical products.
  • Empathy and User-Centric Focus: Deep care for understanding user challenges and providing solutions that help them succeed.
  • Advocacy and Influence: Ability to passionately represent user needs and advocate for their best interests within IOMETE.
  • Experience in Public Speaking: Comfortable speaking in explainer videos, at webinars, conferences, or other events to represent IOMETE’s platform and community.
