About The Role
As a Lead Product Designer at StraitsX, reporting to the Product Design Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience for our products and driving strategic design initiatives that align with the company's vision. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business, product, and engineering stakeholders, to create user-centered solutions and apply product thinking to elevate our offerings.
In addition to strategic oversight, you will also engage in technical UI/UX design work, ensuring that high-fidelity, functional design solutions are not only user-focused but technically feasible for development teams to implement.
What You'll Do
- Strategy and Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive UX strategy that aligns with the company's vision and goals.
- Champion a user-centric approach throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain high UX standards and best practices across all projects.
- Team Management and Development:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing, globally distributed UX team.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team environment to encourage growth and creativity.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to align on business objectives and user goals.
- Serve as the primary UX representative in executive discussions, ensuring UX perspectives are integrated into decision-making processes.
- Research and Analysis:
- Lead user research initiatives to gather valuable insights that inform design decisions.
- Analyze user feedback and product usage data to iteratively improve the user experience.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging UX technologies to keep the team and product at the forefront of innovation.
- Design and Implementation:
- Guide the design process, from wireframes and prototypes to high-fidelity designs, ensuring all outputs are user-focused and visually consistent with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with development teams to oversee the implementation of UX designs, ensuring technical feasibility and design quality.
- Performance Measurement:
- Define and track key UX performance metrics to assess the success and impact of UX initiatives.
- Regularly report UX performance insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 to 6 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing strategic, user-centered design solutions.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring design teams.
- Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with executive stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Web3, stablecoin and/or the broader digital asset industry
- Experience in conducting user research, data analysis, and performance measurement.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) and familiarity with front-end development processes.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in UX design.
