About the role:

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Insurance Product Analyst who can contribute independently as well as work effectively with a team that’s growing a modern commercial insurance product from the ground up.

This role will have the unique opportunity to research growth areas and provide guidance on where Nirvana will write business next. You will collaborate with a close-knit team to turn data analysis into actionable recommendations that can drive real-world impact. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization while expanding your insurance expertise.

What you’ll do:

• Source, validate, and analyze data to glean actionable insights and build dashboards/reports that are used to create and present recommendations to our product and/or business processes
• Implement new insurance product features ranging from underwriting guidelines changes to pricing enhancements to coverage changes
• Work with various internal and external stakeholders to support new products and features
• Leverage programming skills to analyze, modify, and update rating engine code
• Utilize project management skills to effectively manage multiple priorities
• Research and analyze competitor regulatory filings
• Monitor effectiveness and profitability of current products and recommend changes and/or enhancements to leadership
• Assist with product rate reviews
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting
• Own various other Insurance Product projects as they arise
• Be a foundational driver of results for an emerging insurance product
