Responsibilities

  • To create, and maintain our core PHP/MySQL-based backend system and dashboards.
  • Creating and maintaining APIs and Web Services in and out of our system.
  • Optimising MySQL Queries, for better performance.
  • Analyzing and optimizing large data, and bringing up new ideas.
  • Think out of the box, and come up with new product improvement ideas.
  • Creating charts, graphs, PDF reports, web scrapers, etc. in PHP.
  • Learn new PHP / jQuery-based technologies on-demand and create/maintain projects/modules in them.
Requirements
  • Core PHP with OOP.
  • Strong Query, MySQL database, and query optimization skills.
  • Focus on the back end, but with experience in the front end to understand the impact and ramifications of architectural decisions on the back end.
  • Good HTML, CSS3 and jQuery.
  • ReactJS knowledge is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of responsive layouts, UI/UX design principles, and the ability to make and maintain them.
  • Basic understanding of SEO.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for on-site team interaction and documentation.
  • Ability to work as a team with designers and developers.
