About The RoleShopify’s Credit Risk team is responsible for identifying and mitigating financial losses for merchants processing on the Shopify Payments gateway, all while supporting the growth of the trustworthy and sustainable businesses on our platform.Commerce is dynamic and global, making our mandate challenging, impactful and constantly evolving. As Shopify expands its reach and develops new products, our signals and policies must adapt continuously. This work is essential to keeping Shopify a trusted platform.To support our mandate we are looking to add a Merchant Credit Risk Analyst to join our team. You will be a subject matter expert on all things merchant credit risk for merchants processing on Shopify’s Payments gateway. From identifying risk vectors to keeping up to date on emerging trends and industry best practices, you will be responsible for contributing to Shopify’s credit risk policies and monitoring to create a trustworthy product and mitigate financial losses.In this role, you'll be responsible for:
