What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Lead the design and management of program and partner-level databases, key performance indicator dashboards, and MEL systems and tools
• Develop comprehensive data modeling and reports for benchmarking progress towards expected outcomes and assess partner company performance
• Apply various statistical methods to measure development outcomes and analyze program components
• Manage the entire database analysis pipeline from problem definition to crafting recommendations for stakeholders
• Conduct research to support the development of knowledge-sharing products related to gender equality measurements
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Master’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience in applied data analytics, data science, GIS, or related field; or bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience handling complex data sets within large organizations, including familiarity with SQL
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with data visualization software and dashboard design (R Shiny, Power BI, or Tableau)
• Proficiency in advanced statistical techniques and programming skills in Python or R
• Current US work authorization required at the time of application
  
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Hands-on experience with AI and machine learning data mining, forecasting, and predictive modeling
• Familiarity with USAID MEL best practices and data governance principles
• Experience conducting causal inference with observational data and quasi-experimental settings
