Remote Software Engineer - QA Team (Frontend & DeFi Experience) - upto 60,000/Year USD with verification

Location: Remote (4-5 hours overlap with EST)

Contract: Full-time

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 USD

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Software Engineer in the QA Team with experience in frontend testing and decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. In this role, you will test and validate user interfaces for DeFi protocol web applications, ensuring they operate smoothly and integrate accurately with smart contracts. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards for frontend functionality, user experience, and cross-device/browser compatibility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for frontend functionality and user experience.

- Identify, document, and track bugs in the frontend application.

- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility.

- Conduct usability testing to optimize user flows and interface design.

- Verify the accurate integration between frontend and smart contract interactions.

- Test transaction flows, including wallet connections and signature requests.

- Validate data accuracy and consistency across the frontend and blockchain.

- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve identified issues.

- Stay current with DeFi trends and best practices in frontend testing.

- Contribute to improving QA processes and methodologies.

Ideal Candidate:

- 2-4 years of experience in QA testing, particularly in frontend applications.

- Familiarity with DeFi and Web3 applications (non-negotiable).

- Basic understanding of smart contracts and blockchain interaction.

- Experience testing complex frontend environments with smart contract calls, read/post data, and transaction flows.

- Strong attention to detail in testing user interfaces and cross-device compatibility.

- Ability to work independently after initial training on what needs to be tested.

- Good communication skills to collaborate with engineers and report issues clearly.

- Bonus: Experience with Typescript and frontend development is a plus.
