Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize databases to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and processing. This includes data modeling, schema design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting database issues.
• Design and maintain efficient data models, including star schemas (Star Schema), to optimize storage and query performance.
• Normalize and optimize transactional data models to ensure a scalable architecture.
• Implement and manage data transformation workflows using DBT to automate processes and ensure data consistency.
• Use Python for automating data manipulation processes and repetitive tasks.
• Optimize the use of cloud resources to ensure scalability and efficiency in handling large volumes of data.
• Improve SQL query performance by optimizing databases and implementing best practices in data management.
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data acquisition, transformation, cleaning, and data mining both structured and unstructured data.
• Proven ability to explore, transform, and manipulate data using SQL.
• Experience using Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Hands-on knowledge of DBT for managing data transformations.
• Experience modeling star schemas on transactional tables.
• Knowledge of normalizing and optimizing data models to improve query performance.
• Hands-on experience by using the AWS Management Console to create and manage AWS resources.
