As the Product Development Manager for Miss Amara you'll be responsible for managing and co-ordinating the development of our product range in line with Miss Amara's brand strategy to ensure optimal profitability and relevant range.
Your role will cover:
- Responsibility for the build of seasonal range plans that align with the brand strategy
- Leading a small contract design team
- Collaborate with the Merchandise Planner to continually review product performance and develop strategies to maximise profitability and stock turn
- Present seasonal range to key stakeholders for sign-off
- Developing new product that reflects market trends
- Overseas travel to Hong Kong to meet the creative team, collaborate and range plan with the merchandise team and founders
- Meet with internal stakeholders and conduct post-season analysis
- Ongoing assessment of local pricing strategy, ensuring product range is profitable and positioned well in the market
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and awareness of competitors and external trends, identifying missed opportunities and trends to maximise revenue
- Coach, develop and inspire your team to help them with continuous development
- Undertake competitor analysis regularly
Your experience will cover:
- Good understanding of the online retail landscape across markets.
- Good command of retail math concepts, applications.
- Experience in rugs or homewares is preferred but not required.
- Proven track-record of reaching sales targets, improving processes and managing multiple tasks to tight deadlines.
