Supply Chain Co-ordinator

Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Placing purchase orders for specials from the Purchase Warning Dashboard
- Chasing suppliers for order acknowledgements and order progress as required
- Booking direct deliveries in
- Liaising with the warehouse regarding any booking issues
- Updating sales regarding any delays or problems
- Ensure suppliers deliver to correct quality criteria – e.g., Pallets, Labelling, etc.
- Ensure an order acknowledgement is received and thoroughly checked/amended for each order placed.
- Ensure they are buying from manufacturers rather than resellers wherever possible.
- Ensure all stock lines and call-off items are never out of stock.
- Notify sales of any delays before the due date.
- No purchase orders with promise dates in the past.
- Striving to improve GP on repeat orders wherever possible.
- Always acting proactively and enthusiastically to get the best outcome for both customers.
- Ensuring they meet all customer needs by dates, or advise them beforehand if not for specials.
- Acting with integrity and respect for others.
- Number of orders with no promise date after 3 days.
- Items on PWD after 24 hours.
- No purchase orders with a promise date before today.
- Service levels on stock.
- Errors on purchase orders, including those not matching supplier invoices.
