We seek a SkillsMatch programme manager linking professionals with volunteering opportunities in STEM charities in Africa.
What difference will you make?
The person in this role will be a part of building a volunteer workforce that will change Africa! We have seen the brain-drain occur of the last few decades and we want to reverse this.
What are we looking for?
The successful candidate would have the following Previous experience in training or coaching groups and individuals Passion for all volunteer-related topics Excellent organisation, communication, and management skills Strong analytical skills with the ability to probe, investigate and challenge A good knowledge of volunteer tracking systems
What will you be doing?
We are looking for someone to create a strategy around attracting skilled individuals to volunteer within incredible charities based in west African charities. Our SkillsMatch Programme Provides skilled individuals with the opportunity to volunteer remotely and use their skills to build Africa by working with African charities that are doing amazing things. We want to attract those passionate about Africa's progress and are keen to use their skills to help out. First Target Build a database of over 1000 passionate volunteers. - currently at 150
