It’s an exciting time, and to continue our growth, we are recruiting a Software Engineer focussing on Python for our Software Team.

Python, Flask, Redis, Postgres, React, Plotly, Docker, Athena SQL, Athena & EMR Spark, ECS, Temporal, AWS, Azure.
What you can expect as a Software Engineer:
As a Software Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in helping to implement our application which has been carefully designed and spec’d out. You’ll work closely with our existing Software-team members who will be on hand to help unblock any issues you run into. Your primary role will be to deliver a high-standard quality of Python code in-line with best practices.
What you’ll be working on:
You’ll be working primarily on the development of our Platform. This will be a lot of new feature development as we start to roll out new, cutting-edge data science tools and models which allow engineers to model complex physical systems using AI, reducing test times by up to 70%. Given we’re a startup, we work at a fast pace where there’s always opportunity for exposure to new technologies and practices.
There’s a huge opportunity for cross-team collaboration in this role. You’ll speak with DevOps, QA, Product, Data Science regularly.
What would set you up for success coming into this role:
- You have a minimum of five years’ experience working in Software Engineering, with at least two of these in Python.
- You’ve had the opportunity to work on Cloud Infrastructure. Whether it be AWS, Azure or GCP.
- You’ve had the opportunity to and enjoyed being part of a fast-paced and growing Software Engineering company.
- The prospect of working autonomously does not faze you.
- It’s a bonus if you have experience using workflows like Airflow or Temporal, especially in a distributed system environment.
