About the Role
As a result of growth in a new area of business, we are implementing a change of direction for our existing Voxivo and VoxivoCX products and need additional developers to achieve this.
Our existing Voxivo CX is a cloud contact centre management system which integrates seamlessly with Voxivo.
It was built to increase performance and efficiency of the contact centres through an improved agent experience, a better supervisor control and detailed reporting.
Our new strategy is to focus on integrating with Microsoft Teams.
The core technologies used are Elixir, React and MySQL.
You will work as part of a small team, currently consisting of 2 others, working together to design and implement new features, identify and fix defects, and ensure the ongoing availability of service to customers.
Your Part to Play
As part of the existing team, you will work with the Team Leader and Product Owner to deliver new features, diagnose, investigate and fix defects, and help the Service Desk with customer tickets when needed.
You will also contribute towards the technical design of features with the Product Director and the rest of the team. This includes conducting and organising research on the best way to achieve a particular technical goal, understanding customers’ business requirements, and providing timescale estimates.
You will help the team adopt Agile methodologies and ways of working.
The role is remote based (UK or EU).
All about You
You must have:
· Experience in Full-stack development, preferably with more than one language
· Experience using a relational database, preferably MySQL or Postgres
· Knowledge of Linux system administration
· Knowledge on how to build and deploy docker containers
Ideally you will also have:
· Experience in Erlang/Elixir
· Experience in Javascript libraries, especially React
· Experience of call centres and an understanding of telephony
· Some experience of Cloud hosting technologies, particularly using Microsoft Azure
