The Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Product Manager with expertise in retail banking products, particularly lending and deposit solutions, to join our mission. A deep understanding of the UK mortgage market is a significant plus. You will play a critical role in defining and shaping our retail banking product offerings, driving innovation, and ensuring they align with the evolving needs of the UK market.

The Role

What You’ll Do
- Product Vision and Strategy: Define and champion the product vision and strategy for our retail banking solutions, with a focus on lending and deposit products. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with Mambu's mission and business objectives.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Conduct thorough market research and engage with clients to deeply understand their needs and challenges related to retail banking products. Embrace a customer-obsessed mindset to deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
- Product Development Leadership: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from discovery to launch, collaborating seamlessly with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams. Foster a culture of curiosity and continuous learning.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay at the forefront of UK retail banking regulations, ensuring our products are compliant and provide a seamless user experience.
- Client Success: Partner with sales and client success teams to support the successful adoption and use of our retail banking products, ensuring clients achieve their goals.
- Thought Leadership: Be a vocal advocate for innovation in the UK retail banking industry, representing Mambu at industry events and contributing to thought leadership content.
- Product Management Experience: Extensive knowledge and experience in UK retail banking products, particularly lending and deposit solutions. A deep understanding of UK mortgages is a significant advantage.
- Customer Focus: A strong ability to empathise with customers, gather insights, and translate them into actionable product requirements.
- Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to build relationships and drive consensus across teams. Problem-Solving Mindset: Analytical skills to interpret data, identify opportunities, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Experience in Core Banking: Familiarity with core banking systems and technologies is advantageous but not a must. Experience of working for a UK bank in product management is highly desirable.
