Project Director – Oracle Strategic Client Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to oversee and manage the build and operational projects related to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Registry (OCIR) for Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle Cloud technologies, especially OCIR, and a strong background in project management. This role will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, aligning them with business objectives, and maintaining operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution
  • Develop, manage, and execute project plans for Oracle OCIR build and operations.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including developers, architects, and IT operations, to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams, business units, and external vendors.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Risk Management
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and report on project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards and are in compliance with Oracle's best practices.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure project adherence to scope and objectives.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Oversee the transition of completed projects into operational status, ensuring smooth handover and continuity.
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ongoing OCIR operations.
  • Continuously assess and improve processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership
  • Provide guidance and direction to project teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members in project management best practices.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects, ideally within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle OCIR, including its architecture, deployment, and operational aspects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Authority’s security clearance to manage sensitive workloads and classified information up to the SECRET level.
