(Senior) Data Scientist (m/f/d)
Location: remote, Germany; remote, Spain
Your responsibilities
- Conduct experimentation and prototyping on new initiatives, setting the stage for subsequent Data projects.
- Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models in Python to innovate and enhance processes and products (utilizing tools such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, CatBoost, LightGBM).
- Guide stakeholders through discoveries and discussions in data-related fields.
- Perform complex data analysis and experimentation, providing actionable insights to business stakeholders, including leveraging GenAI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Product Managers, and Business Stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to team methodologies and technical tools.
- A master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field, such as statistics, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or economics.
- Extensive experience in the end-to-end development of Data Science projects, particularly in the eCommerce sector.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, and possess strong data science fundamentals, including modeling, data structures, and visualization techniques.
- Knowledge of software development and related tools (e.g., Git, Docker, Azure, AWS).
- Familiarity with software development tools and environments (e.g., Git, Docker, Azure, AWS).
- A proactive, problem-solving, and analytical mindset with excellent communication skills in English.
