We are seeking a Lead Full-stack JavaScript Developer with solid engineering skills across the stack.

This role will be responsible for leading a team of engineers working on a variety of products. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality deliverables through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), provide regular feedback to the team, and adjust processes and timelines as necessary.

Responsibilities


  • Oversee coding and development tasks
  • Delegate tasks effectively without micromanaging
  • Focus on team's productivity and collective impact
  • Make independent decisions for the team
  • Lead technical discussions and drive effective technical decisions
  • Collaborate with engineers for defining and reviewing architecture
  • Assist in code review processes and bug fixes
  • Prioritize high-impact projects
  • Partner with product teams to manage scope and deliverables
  • Translate product requirements into technical specifications
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects


Requirements


  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, ReactJS
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Understanding of web development, service-oriented architecture, and cloud computing
  • Experience with AWS or GCP
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and deliver effective solutions
  • Experience fostering a collaborative and enjoyable team environment


Nice to have


  • Advanced AWS certifications
  • Contributions to open-source projects
  • Leadership training or certifications
