Given our exceptional growth, we are expanding and hiring an Information Security Engineer to join us on this exciting journey. This position will be responsible for helping to control information security risks by managing threat/vulnerability management systems and other security technologies to mitigate risks.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor systems for irregular behavior, respond to security alerts, and set up preventive measures.
- Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware.
- Monitor and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems.
- Install software that monitors systems and networks for security breaches and intrusions.
- Educate and train staff on information system security best practices.
- Implement, configure, and maintain information security tools to ensure compliance with information security policy objectives.
- Identify and document system security requirements and recommend solutions to management.
- Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree in information security/ technology or related field, preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years information security application/system administration, preferred.
- Information security/cybersecurity certification(s), such as: Security+, CEH, or CISSP are strongly preferred.
- Preference given to information security/cybersecurity industry experience.
- Strong technical skills in managing security vulnerabilities, vulnerability scanning, and the configuration of security logging and alerting systems.
- Familiar with security incident response, incident triage, and other security processes to address common security issues.
- Ability to work independently to ensure assigned work is completed accurately and on time.
