About The Opportunity
As a member of the Developer Experience team, the Business Analyst will advocate for an improved developer experience with adopting Ellucian tools and technologies. This is achieved by engaging with internal and external stakeholders, contributors, and customers to produce content that supports the developer journey from analysis and design through deployment of technical solutions. A successful Senior Business Analyst on the Developer Experience team will have the confidence necessary to challenge the status quo and consider creative and alternate approaches to supporting the developer journey.

About The Opportunity
As a member of the Developer Experience team, the Business Analyst will advocate for an improved developer experience with adopting Ellucian tools and technologies. This is achieved by engaging with internal and external stakeholders, contributors, and customers to produce content that supports the developer journey from analysis and design through deployment of technical solutions. A successful Senior Business Analyst on the Developer Experience team will have the confidence necessary to challenge the status quo and consider creative and alternate approaches to supporting the developer journey.
Where you will make an impact
- Work in close partnership with an agile development team to create, analyze project/product requirements in support of meeting product roadmap commitments
- Work effectively with the product manager, agile development team, and other stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment
- Work in close relationship with other members of the Information Development team on content architecture, design, and publication of content
- Advocate for a positive developer experience and support developer enablement in using Ellucian products, tools, and services to build integrations and solutions
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to solicit requirements, define use cases, design, and build documentation/tools that supports a positive developer experience
- Engage with other team members to validate designs, ensure standards are adhered to, and verify requirements are being met
- Confidently challenge the status quo and identify innovative solutions that supports the developer journey with Ellucian technologies
- Participate in and/or lead assessment efforts to gather feedback from developers on their experience with adopting Ellucian tools and technology
- Analyse feedback gathered during assessment efforts and work with agile development team to define action items and priorities as an outcome of the assessments
- Research industry standards and practices to establish data-driven recommendations for producing developer focused content
- Influence and assist in managing Governance standards, processes, and procedures for the Developer Experience team
- 3+ years of total industry experience with enterprise applications as a business analyst, developer, or QA analyst
- Passionate about improving the developer experience with Ellucian solutions
- Agile knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and meet commitments
- Good analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Highly motivated self-starter with advanced capability to quickly learn, and work with new technologies and complex technical solutions
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to define, design, develop and produce content that meets established requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Desired Skills/Knowledge/Experience
- Familiarity with design and development of integrations between third parties and ERPs
- Functional understanding of RESTful APIs
- Experience with content architecture and documentation development in written and/or video format
