For our client, we are currently filling the following position on a permanent basis:

Tax Manager (m/f/d) 100% Remote

YOUR TASKS

• Coordinate tax department activities and act as liaison for internal and external parties
• Prepare fiscal year closing activities for Germany and European countries
• Ensure compliance with external tax regulations, including VAT, and internal controls like SOX across headquarters, branches, and subsidiaries
• Assist finance teams with group taxes, tax planning, and monitoring tax accounts
• Manage tax payments for VAT and corporation tax
• Support and oversee tax audits in Germany and internationally, collaborating with external consultants
  
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Academic degree in business administration (preferably with a focus on finance) or comparable qualification
• 2-3 years of experience in a corporate tax function or tax consulting
• Profound knowledge of German and international tax law, particularly of VAT and corporate tax
• Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking, independent and proactive way of working
• Profound knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience with SAP (S4 HANA) preferable
• Fluent in English, conversational in German
