Consumer Software GTM Specialist (US Company, REMOTE)

Location: Remote (Half-time with potential to grow into full-time)

Requirements: Must be able to work flexible hours as needed, with availability for collaboration across US time zones

Overview:

Our client, a dynamic early-stage startup, is looking for an experienced GTM (Go-to-Market) Specialist to join their team and help bring their innovative consumer app to market. The company is leveraging AI, data science, and advanced software to help people make better life decisions. This role is essential to shaping the GTM strategy and execution, ensuring a successful launch. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in launching consumer apps and be well-versed in GTM strategies, defining KPIs, market benchmarking, and conversion rate optimization. The company is a very early-stage startup, so this role is initially part-time, with the potential to grow into a full-time position as the company gears up for a product launch early next year. The ideal candidate will have worked at a startup and have launched consumer-facing software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • GTM Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies that ensure a successful app launch and alignment with the company’s overall vision and business goals.
  • Market Research & Benchmarking: Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and benchmarking to identify key opportunities and positioning for the product.
  • KPI & Metrics Management: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to app user acquisition, engagement, and conversion, ensuring strategies are data-driven and optimized.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and data science, to ensure GTM strategies are cohesive and align with the product roadmap.
  • Forecasting & Planning: Assist in the planning and forecasting phases, contributing to accurate projections for product success and market penetration.
  • Adaptability: As the product moves from planning to launch, expand responsibilities and take on more strategic roles within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in taking consumer apps to market, with a strong understanding of GTM strategies and app launch processes.
  • Skills: Expertise in market research, competitive benchmarking, KPI tracking, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze and interpret complex data, using insights to shape and refine strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and present strategic insights effectively.
  • Startup Mindset: Comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment, with flexibility to adapt to evolving needs and priorities.
