Summary:

The E-commerce Data Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting market data to identify key opportunities, competitive structures, and market demand. This role focuses on supporting the internal team with market insights, keyword analysis, search performance data, and client strategies to drive growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing and analytics, with proven experience in e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, or eBay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth market analysis to assess market structures, competitive landscapes, demand levels, and identify true market opportunities.
  • Conduct top-level market assessments to support new client acquisitions.
  • Execute keyword analysis to pinpoint relevant keywords for strategic targeting.
  • Analyze search query performance to uncover issues, trends, and opportunities for growth.
  • Present key market and competitive insights to internal teams to shape strategies.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to address specific inquiries from clients or internal teams.
  • Identify market share, growth potential, and investment opportunities for existing clients, advising on ROI, tactics, and strategies to improve search rankings and increase visibility.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, content creation, PPC, and product development, to execute optimization cycles and report findings.
  • Support the development of processes and tools for market intelligence tasks, working with product teams to automate and improve workflows.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, e-commerce analytics, and business development, with experience in platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, or eBay.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience handling large datasets to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Proficient in advanced spreadsheet functions, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
  • Ability to pass a proficiency test, which includes a case study to be presented during the interview process.
