What You'll Do

Owner of the holistic product life cycle and customer journey for Ministry Brands payments product segment. Work will be collaborative and generally independent. This individual will work with the broader product team, inside of a shared product management cadence. Your job will be to identify customer needs and extract insights that lead to new customer acquisition, increased product usage, and existing customer retention, then translate those needs into actionable initiatives. This individual will work hand in hand with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Design, and Engineering to solidify product requirements that upgrade old product experiences and deliver new breakout experiences that drive customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translates strategic objectives into actionable initiatives
  • Conducts customer research including interviews and win/loss analysis
  • Facilitates feedback meetings with sales, marketing, legal, operations, and other internal stakeholders
  • Works with engineering leadership to define solution architecture and feature requirements
  • Coordinates product designers to design best in class interfaces
  • Develops Market and Product Requirements Documentation
  • Builds business cases to understand ROI and opportunity cost
  • Prioritizes initiatives based on revenue impact, customer value creation, and alignment with company goals
  • Coordinates with the product owners, designers, and development managers on quarterly planning and sprint cadence
  • Coordinates with release management team to successfully launch new products and features
  • Understands and utilizes key metrics to drive growth including Customer Count, CAC, LTV, ARR, EBITDA, churn, and product specific KPI’s
  • Defines software and professional service products including pricing, positioning, and implementation
  • Reports to senior leadership on strategy, financials, and initiative progress


Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4+ years of experience managing payment processing and online commerce products
  • 4+ years of experience in product management, preferably in SaaS software
  • Experience working with financial systems, and payment regulations
  • Curious about changes in the payment landscape and knowledgeable of emerging trends
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage and support cross-functional teams
  • Can meet tight deadlines, lead by example, be willing and able to roll-up sleeves and dive into the details when necessary
  • Experience launching product software for clients and consumers
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in various stages, from ideation through market delivery
  • Prefer 4+ years of business experience in one or more of the following: design, engineering, project management, strategy, business analysis, or similar field
  • Possess excellent analytical skills with experience in information and data analysis, impact analysis, cost-benefit analysis, ROI, and globally integrated solutions with ability to interpret data to make fact-based decisions
  • Experience with Pendo a big plus
