This position sits in the Talent Analytics function within HR and will primarily be responsible for design, creation, deployment, and maintenance of HR reporting and business intelligence solutions. The Sr. Associate role will also build cross-functional relationships across HR and the broader organizational to understand and support data requirements and implement recommendations based on business impact and technical feasibility. Knowledge in data science, HR functional domain, and data integration will assist in being able to make informed decisions that will help guide the HR function and organization forward in our data and analytics journey. The role will work closely with functional teams, business analysts, and others as part of a team that consults around large, complex data sets and metrics that provide WTW with a competitive talent advantage.

The Role

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and prioritize business intelligence and reporting needs; develop key performance indicators and dashboards and deliver reporting and analytic solutions to stakeholders providing data-driven talent and business insights
  • Assists in architecting Business Intelligence solutions and developing strategy.
  • Align business intelligence products and tools to ensure company keeps pace with industry capabilities. Oversee HR reporting and business intelligence capabilities.
  • Responsible for the design, development, testing, and implementation of reports and solutions that utilize underlying HR data sources.
  • Establish standards and best practices for business intelligence and reporting. Recommend improvements to maximize process efficiency and report management.
  • Drive information governance and data quality across HR data landscape
  • Investigates data issues, performs analyses, proposes and executes solutions.
  • Power advanced analytic capabilities through Master Data Management.
  • Engage and actively seek industry perspectives through external engagements such as technology forums, peer groups, etc.
  • Conduct external benchmarking on key metrics, analytics practices and tools
  • Defines ways to maximize use of HR systems and associated data, supporting reports and dashboards, working with internal teams and vendors; provide back-end analysis and reporting.

The Requirements

  • Strong analytical ability, data judgment, and problem analysis techniques
  • Understanding of and experience working with HR and other organizational people data
  • Ability to synthesize data, metrics, and analysis across different functions of Human Resources, multiple systems, internal and external sources and integrate into a well-rounded, actionable direction
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Advanced programming of data/reports, knowledge of and hands on capability with data visualization principles and tools
  • Manipulating, processing and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets
  • Solid understanding of concepts of cloud computing and experience working with people analytics tools and platforms
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross functional team
  • Experience building working relationships with data owners/stewards
  • Great verbal and written communication skills to collaborate cross functionally and enhance scalability; experience communicating technical results to technical and non-technical audiences

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $90,000-$120,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
