Requirements

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Global Content Marketing Lead (Organic/Inbound) with demonstrated experience working across global markets and a discovery mindset on content we provide. This area of Genie has lots of investor-backed support and would suit somebody who is excited about taking on the challenge of landing new users in our App!

Reporting into Alex, our Growth Marketing Lead, your team can grow as fast as you can prove the value of the work you’re doing. Your work lays the foundation for international expansion.

As you push into new markets, and acquire more local traffic, you can hire in to the Global Content Marketing team beginning at a region, and then national level. Within 2 years, if the numbers look good, we will be in 15 locales and your team could be 10+.

  • You will create and execute the global content & SEO strategy for template landing pages, category pages and inbound mid/long-tail high intent landing pages
  • You will confidently produce high quality, legally sound pages that maintain our brand integrity, at scale, in Webflow
  • You will work directly with our AI & ML teams and use Genie’s AI to build these pages
  • You will build with best practice site structure, technical SEO and page performance at front of mind
  • You will build a repeatable scalable process to enter new markets, with a staged roll-out of different content types
  • You will ensure we work efficiently and prioritise our work based on long-term potential business impact
  • You will design and implement your own KPI’s and build reporting on your programs to highlight contributions to business performance
  • You will stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, technologies and best practices

About You

  • You possess mother-tongue of or otherwise full fluency in English (another major language would be a plus)
  • You have a proven track record of creating high quality pages that acquire new users on a global scale, and in diverse markets
  • You have the ability to synthesize large quantities of data and translate insights into actionable content strategies
  • You are comfortable spending hours in keyword research, technical SEO tools, and are proficient at producing in-depth site audits
  • You have implemented and maintained hreflangs at scale, and it is a challenge you enjoy getting stuck into
  • You serve as the in-house SEO subject matter expert, providing training and guidance to cross-collaborative squads where necessary
  • You have proficiency of working hand-in-hand with AI on a daily basis (but your work never ‘looks’ like it was done using AI)
  • You are deeply empathic, able to inhabit the point of view of multiple target customer personas
  • You enjoy using your initiative and can work fully autonomously, driven by the satisfaction of completing projects
  • You are bold and embrace a ‘discovery mindset’, and what interviewing users can teach you about what you don’t know you don’t know
  • You can communicate in a succinct and accessible way to internal and external stakeholders, and you are able to build trust and credibility at all levels of the business
  • You possess strong emotional intelligence and are able to maintain healthy and professional working relationships in a small but rapidly growing team
  • You’re keen to work independently, as well as collaborate at times with a rapidly growing diverse team
  • You are a ‘first principles’ thinker, breaking down complexity with ease
  • You have a keen interest in all things technology and are tech savvy

Interview process

  • You will initially meet our Talent Acquisition Lead, Charlette followed by a take home task. After this you will meet with Alex our Head of Growth Marketing & Rafie our CEO & Co-Founder followed by another task and Culture Interview with our Co-Founder & CTO, Nitish and Sophie our Legal Marketing Intern
