Senior Solution Specialist, CITIES
Location: Europe-based (Office/Hybrid/Remote)
Position Summary
We are seeking a talented Senior Solutions Specialist to join the CITIES team within Bentley’s Product Advancement Group (PAG) and contribute to the innovation of exciting digital twin solutions for regions, cities, districts, airports, ports, and industrial sites.
We want to solve real-world infrastructure challenges that Cities are facing! Hence, this role interfaces with users, as well as Bentley colleagues in Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Support, and User Success. You will be responsible for accelerating digital twin adoption in the CITIES industry and its supply chain across all assets and lifecycle phases. This position directly supports accounts and reports to the team’s Industry Strategist.
Within PAG, the Industry Solutions Group (ISG) is a team of experts who specialize in delivering value to users and prospects in selected industries with the goal to strengthen Bentley’s industry solutions offerings to speed time to value for our users and accounts. The ISG works closely with other teams within Bentley, such as product development, account advancement, marketing, user success, strategic partners, and portfolio development, to ultimately accelerate the company’s growth across industries through set of industry initiatives. The ISG plays a vital role in ensuring that product development aligns with the needs of specific industry segments and that the rest of the organization is aligned with those priorities.
We Will Rely On You For The Following
The Solution Specialists are the technical experts of industry solutions within the Industry Solutions Group. They are responsible for building and testing the industry solution components, integrations, and applications, sometimes in EAPs or POCs. They also collaborate with the industry strategists, advisors, solution managers, and other business units to ensure the quality and performance of industry solutions.

Solution Specialists
- test existing products and services to create comprehensive solutions
- provide industry level knowledge to internal and external stakeholders
- track and report progress resolving identified integration issues
- create solution validation reports for each solution identifying integration issues
- develop Solution-specific training/learning materials
- collaborate closely with One Bentley System team and product development teams to improve solutions
- assist/coordinate on-site event activities for certain conferences/seminars.
- help coordinate activities with other Bentley groups such as Marketing, Sales, and Product to ensure consistent and accurate messaging, including creating regular articles, webinars, updates, and newsletters.
- Availability to travel (10%-20%).
- Comes with a relevant industry background and an understanding of BIM policies, procedures, and processes (B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Architecture or comparable Sciences preferred).
- At least 10 years of direct experience using or implementing Bentley Cad/BIM software and Cloud Solutions.
- Solid understanding of Bentley or other relevant industry software to seamlessly integrate with existing systems and workflows.
- Self-starter with the ability to understand business needs, think strategically and develop creative and constructive proposals while working collaboratively across business functions.
- Should be able to collaborate and execute globally.
- Strong technology skills for helping create, edit, format papers, graphics, and presentations.
- Ability to work as part of a team, with a high degree of self-awareness, integrity, and accountability.
