About The Role
We are seeking a Staff-Level Engineer to lead the implementation of the offchain component of a novel hack prevention protocol for EVM chains. This role involves developing software that will run near Web3 infrastructure and perform low-latency EVM simulations, ensuring that an EVM transaction is valid based on a set of rules with extreme time requirements in the tens of milliseconds.

About The Role
We are seeking a Staff-Level Engineer to lead the implementation of the offchain component of a novel hack prevention protocol for EVM chains. Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and implementation of the offchain component of Aeir.ch Hack Prevention.
- Collaborate with external L2 teams to integrate Aeir.ch with their systems and APIs (e.g., sequencers).
- Ensure the implementation is performant and secure, forming a critical part of our infrastructure.
- Strong experience in software development with Rust and systems architecture.
- Experience in developing high-performance and low-latency systems.
- Expertise in performance optimizations related to databases and networking.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
