We're on the lookout for a seasoned Data Scientist with a passion for analyzing massive volumes of structured and unstructured data and a knack for uncovering actionable insights using advanced models and AI to join our vibrant team in Virginia Beach, VA OR Remote.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling. This role involves extracting insights from complex datasets, developing predictive models, and providing data-driven recommendations to support business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Prepare and analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
  • AI/ML: Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models, including Generative AI, for predictive analytics, classification, and other applications.
  • Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical techniques to analyze data and build models that forecast future trends and behaviors.
  • Data Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and business analysts, to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data science and integrate new techniques and tools into existing workflows

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in data science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch).
  • Experience working with large volumes of structured and unstructured data, particularly in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $100-$145K per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
