We are looking for a Python Developer to join our data teams. As a company we are processing an ever increasing amount of surgical video and user-generated events.

What you’ll be doing:

• Work within the machine learning team to ensure efficient ingestion and access to a growing catalogue of video & image data.
• Contribute code that makes accessing data as easy as possible for machine learning engineers.
• Optimise existing databases and help investigate new technologies that will allow the team to scale into the future.

Skills - Musts:

• Python software development (2-3 years)
• Python Standard Library
• Version control (git)
• Testing
• MongoDB

Skills – Nice to have:

• Experience with AWS or similar cloud provider & high-level understanding of cloud computing concepts
• Experience with other database technologies (e.g. SQL, MemCache)
• Database profiling& optimization experience
• Experience / interest in data science & machine learning
• Docker experience
• Linux experience
• Infrastructure as code (IaC) experience (Terraform or similar)
