We are seeking a Creative Group Head (With a strong digital/social media understanding). We want someone who is dynamic and multifaceted, requiring a combination of creative expertise, leadership skills, project management capabilities, and a deep understanding of client needs and market trends. The role of a Creative Group Head involves managing and working alongside a team of creatives, with a strong focus on digital campaigns and social media content. With the support of the Creative Director, the Creative Group Head will oversee the creative direction, quality, and execution of various campaigns and projects. The role can be quite diverse and includes several key responsibilities:


  • Leadership and Team Management: Responsible for leading a team of creative professionals. This may involve training, mentoring, and managing team members, ensuring they work cohesively and efficiently toward common goals.

  • Digital and social media: A creative who has a strong understanding of digital and social media. Who can develop and executes engaging and innovative content for various digital platforms and stay current in this area of evolving technological advancements.

  • Creative Direction: Responsible for creative direction and vision for projects and campaigns. This involves setting the tone, style, and message that aligns with the client's or organization's objectives while maintaining consistent quality and originality.

  • Project Oversight: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that projects are on track, deadlines are met, and quality standards are maintained. Where necessary, step in to help problem-solve or provide guidance when challenges arise.

  • Client Interaction: Interact (depending / if or when required) directly with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on project progress, and gather feedback. Act as a bridge between the creative team and the clients, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

  • Idea Generation and Conceptualization: Contribute to the brainstorming and ideation process and help develop creative concepts that align with the client's objectives, target audience, and brand identity.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as account management, marketing, suppliers, client and production to ensure a smooth workflow and alignment between creative efforts and broader business goals.

  • Quality Control: Maintain the quality and consistency of creative work produced by the team. This involves reviewing and providing constructive feedback to team members to ensure that the final output meets the desired standards.

  • Staying Current: Keep abreast with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design, advertising, and marketing. Keeping the team's work relevant and innovative through knowledge sharing.

  • Problem Solving: Responsible for finding solutions that maintain the integrity of the creative work while addressing any constraints when challenges or roadblocks arise during the creative process.


  • Qualifications/Experience/Skill:


  • Relevant tertiary qualification

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Creative Group Head in a traditional TTL Advertising Agency

  • Proficient in Office 365 (i.e. SharePoint / Teams etc.)

  • A good command of the English language (both verbal and written)

  • Experience working TTL & Digital campaigns is essential

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Strong leadership / people skills

  • Portfolio of evidence showcasing TTL & Digital work
